Meet Our Head Trainer: Fiona Taylor (BMedSci)
With over 23 years of experience in accredited first aid instruction, Fiona Taylor brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and teaching expertise to every class.
Fiona’s journey began in 2002 on Kangaroo Island, where she recognized a vital need for local, accessible training in remote areas. Spending a decade with St John and the Red Cross, she specialised in training individuals to manage emergencies when professional medical help might be a long distance away. This “real-world” approach remains the cornerstone of Tailored First Aid today.
After years of sharpening her expertise in Adelaide—where she partnered with Asthma Australia to specialise in asthma and anaphylaxis management—Fiona returned to NSW. Settling on a small acreage outside of Bathurst, she consolidated her decades of experience to launch Tailored First Aid in 2017.
Today, Fiona is proud to serve the Central West regions like Bathurst, and Blue Mountains, ensuring that farmers, educators, parents, and professionals have the skills they need to save lives.
